White Tea, Old Tree, Spring 2017
White tea is said to be good in the morning for meditation, or on a hot summer's day due to its cool nature. Our White Tea comes from 200+ year old tea trees in Lincang, Yunnan. The leaves that are traditionally used for Puerh are processed like a white tea: simply picked and then air-dried. They are then hand-rolled into tea drops after slightly steaming the dry leaves.
Each Tea Drop is ~6 grams and can steep 15-20 times in a Gaiwan or small tea pot. This tea is excellent to cold brew; we often get 2 to 3 gallons of White Tea per ball!
