Red/Black Tea, Old Tree, Spring 2017
Our Hong Cha (Red Tea) from 2017 is very warm in nature, and is very rich. The tea material comes from 200+ year old tea trees in Mengku, Lincang, Yunnan. The taste is very sweet and smooth, the body feeling is very relaxing, and the smell is floral.The leaves are processed like a red tea: slightly wilted under the sun, dry fried, oxidized, then hand-rolled into balls.
Each Tea Drop is approximately 6 grams, and can steep 15-20 times in a Gaiwan or small tea pot.
