White Tea, Old Arbor, Spring 2017
White tea is said to be good in the morning for meditation, or on a hot summer's day due to its cool nature. Our White Tea comes from 200+ year old tea trees in Lincang, Yunnan. The leaves that are traditionally used for Puerh are processed like a white tea: slightly wilted under the sun, baked, then hand-rolled into balls. Some people call this "White Puerh" because the tea's body and affect is similar to a Sheng Puerh yet it also smells very floral and feels light, like a white tea. However, Puerh has a specific processing method and therefore this is technically not Puerh.
Each Tea Drop steeps 15-20 times in a Gaiwan or small tea pot. This tea is excellent to cold brew; we often get 2 to 3 gallons of White Tea per ball!
Each Tea Drop is approximately 6 grams. Weight includes packaging.
