Red Tea, Ancient Arbor, Spring 2017
Our Hong Cha (Red Tea) from 2017 is very warm in nature, and noble in character. The taste is very sweet and smooth, the body feeling is very relaxing, and the smell is floral (deeper notes than the White Tea). Our Hong Cha comes from 200+ year old tea trees in MengKu, Lincang, Yunnan. The leaves are processed like a red tea: slightly wilted under the sun, dry fried, oxidized, then hand-rolled into balls.
Each Tea Drop is approximately 6 grams, and can steep 15-20 times in a Gaiwan or small tea pot. Each Tea Drop can make approximately 1 gallon of tea.
