Red Tea, Old Arbor, Spring 2017
This Old Arbor Red Tea is warm in nature, and noble in character. The taste is very sweet and smooth, the body feeling is very relaxing, and the smell is floral (deeper notes than the White Tea). Our Red Tea is somewhat unique in that it comes from 200+ year old tea trees in Lincang, Yunnan. The leaves are processed like a red tea: slightly wilted under the sun, dry fried, oxidized, then hand-rolled into balls.
Each Tea Drop steeps 15-20 times in a Gaiwan or small tea pot. Each Tea Drop can make approximately 1 gallon of tea.
Each Tea Drop is approximately 6 grams, and the weight does include the weight of the wrapper.
