Chen Xiang (Aloeswood) Incense
Chen Xiang has been revered by people, cultures, and religions for thousands of years. Chen Xiang is a wonderful complement to a tea experience and exceptional for meditation and other spiritual practices. Our incense is extremely pure and clean. There are 2 ingredients: Chen Xiang (aloeswood) and "nan wood"; nan wood is the resin from a tree in Vietnam. There are no fillers, additives, chemicals, perfumes, etc. Our Chen Xiang incense comes from wild trees that were naturally injured and is quite different from the majority of aloeswood which is extracted from trees that are injured and inoculated by humans. Wild, naturally injured trees produce aloeswood with greater depth in both its smell and physiological affect. Cultivated wood can typically be recognized by a sickly-sweet smell that is nice but not nearly as amazing as wild Chen Xiang.
It should be emphasized that 99% of aloeswood on the market today is either cultivated or fake. Even experts get cheated! There are books in China written by people who attempted to start a Chen Xiang business and were cheated and robbed for millions of dollars. Luckily, our friends have been in the aloeswood industry since the end of the Vietnam War and we trust them completely. We can acquire any grade of Chen Xiang, all the way up to Qi Nan (Kynam). We can also have any grade of wood made into incense for you, please contact us directly if you are interested in higher grade incense.
Chen Xiang is called aloeswood, agarwood, oud, and many other names.
